Business Vision Network (BVN) is committed to sharing time, resources, energy, and our heart to help underprivileged and under resourced people and communities throughout the world. We believe that the most effective way to reach people is through strategic partnerships. BVN will be partnering with Morningstar Development (MSDEV) in 2013 to help bring purpose and inspiration to the emerging leaders of Afghanistan!

MSDEV is a non-profit community and economic development organization committed to help the people of Afghanistan rebuild their country and their lives by offering practical hope and resources. A portion of BVN’s “World Changer Program” will go directly to MSDEV and their Institute for Leadership Development.

Morning Star Development operates the Institute for Leadership Development (ILD) where we offer best practices of Leadership training to young Afghan leaders. Typical students are University graduates who are already working in a key leadership position. After working all day, these students, both men and women, attend 2.5hr classes four nights per week. This is a one year program with visiting Instructors from around the world who impart what they have learned as leaders.

The ILD is preparing a new generation of leaders who will lead the New Afghanistan. The curriculum is strong on character, integrity and the principles of Servant Leadership. Fully 10% of our ILD graduates have received a Fulbright or other scholarship to study abroad for a master’s degree. All graduates are connected via an online forum and have also formed an active Leadership Consulting Group.
